Member Savings Account
Overview
Eligibility: This is an account for all persons above the age of 18.
Earnings: The account earns distributable surplus every financial year.
Loan Eligibility: Account holders are eligible to borrow any type of loan in the self-help group.
New Member Qualification: New members qualify for loans after saving consistently for at least 6 months after initial deposit.
Financial Terms & Contributions
Registration Fee: A registration fee of Sh. 760 applies.
Primary Savings (MS): The Member Savings account serves as the primary account, with a minimum monthly contribution of Sh. 50.
Withdrawal Policy: There is no partial withdrawal option for the savings; members access their savings through loan uptake.
Registration Requirements
A filled membership registration form.
Copy of national ID/passport.
Copy of KRA PIN certificate.
Copy of next of kin national ID/passport.
Passport size photograph.
